Project ORBIT is NJIT's initiative to upgrade the Plus administrative information systems (FRS, SIS, HRS) to the Banner suite of components.  Banner is the "successor" software to Plus from SunGard Higher Education (SGHE). 

What makes Banner different?

• Banner is one system as opposed to three systems.

• Banner is built on top of an Oracle relationship database.

• Most access to Banner will be through Highlander Pipeline with one login to all components.
