We are pleased to inform the university community that significant progress continues with Project ORBIT.  We are on-target to go live with Banner Finance on July 7, 2009, the beginning of FY 2010.

Initial end-user training in Self-Service Banner Finance is now underway.  Attending one three-hour training session will provide sufficient instruction to use Self-Service Banner Finance.  Colleagues in your area who received the initial training will be available to assist in the transition from FRS Plus to Banner Finance.  

The Banner Finance End-User Training Team has scheduled twenty division-focused training sessions (June 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18th).  Sessions will run from either 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  Specific Area VP/Division training sessions are being coordinated and scheduled with the Area VP/Division head offices.  Individual faculty and staff will be invited to attend specific sessions by their Area VP/Division head.  There will be ten additional training sessions offered during July and August as well as several Banner Finance End-User Open Forums during the transition period.
